Lots of people have asked me what my new house looks like--so this is for all of you...

My rent at my old apartment was getting too expensive--we were going to be paying more for our three bedroom apartment than this place we found. So--my friend Angie, my roommate Irene, and my neighbor Linda all decided to move up to South Mountain. I love the view and I love the nicer room I have now compared to my old apartment!

We found a good deal on a four bedroom townhouse and decided to take it. It belonged to some guys with great taste! They had great decorations and a great layout when we toured it--so we fell in love. It has a 2 car garage and several floors of fun! That means a ton of stairs...there is 36 from my front door to my bedroom. My bedroom is the attic room--which I love regardless of all the stairs... My favorite part is the view from my window--I can see the Draper Temple! Plus--I have my own bathroom.

My landlord Vic had a piano here as well and Angie and I were able to convince him to leave it behind for us to use for a small price. I love having a piano at my house again! I've been able to start teaching piano lessons and am redeveloping my buried talents...

This new house is an exciting new adventure. It has already helped me to learn one more thing about me. I love to do laundry!--crazy, I know, but I do. We don't really have a laundry room in this house, but we have a laundry hall. I still love it even if it is hidden by the folding doors. For some reason--nothing beats the smell and feeling of warm, soft, clean clothes. I just love to do my laundry! But--don't ask me to iron--that's a totally different thing...
The kitchen is also my other favorite part. I love how big it is and all the space there is. It's great to have a place for everything and have

enough room for four girls to share it--I always hated how hard it was with six in college. But--it seems manageable so far and I just love it. It also has great views of the mountain and the temple!
